The summer heat may still be upon us, but Christmas really is just around the corner! At Interfaith, we are gearing up to transform our warehouse into a twinkling, old fashioned tree farm for our second annual Home for the Holidays Open House and Tree Auction. If you attended last year, you know what a fun and exciting event this is. You do not want to miss this year’s festivities so mark it on your calendar now for Saturday, November 23rd, immediately following the downtown Christmas Parade. Santa Claus is joining us again this year and is looking forward to taking pictures with all the children. There will be a new make-n-take Christmas kids’ craft to hang on your tree, and the day would not be complete without letting the children “bid” on their favorite items in the toy raffle. Hot drinks will warm you after the parade, and you can enjoy yummy treats as you stroll down Christmas Tree Lane. This year’s event will include many beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and gift baskets on which to bid. You are sure to find something that will brighten your home for the holidays. Bidding will be easier this year with an app right on your phone. Not a techie person or don’t own a smartphone? No problem! “Lumberjacks” will be onsite to get that bid made for you and follow it through to the close of the auction. And, of course, Interfaith will have their 2019 limited edition signature Christmas tree ornament for a $20 donation, which enters you into the drawing for a chance to win the annual Home for the Holidays grand prize. We cannot tell you what it is yet, but this year’s prize is OUTSTANDING and something everyone can use. You do not want to miss out on this drawing! Please come see the spectacular transformation of our warehouse into an old fashioned Christmas Tree Farm. You do not want to miss out on this great event for the entire family on Saturday, November 23rd, 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, 1326 E Avenue A, Hutchinson, KS.
