Hutchinson Down Payment Assistance Program

Making Homeownership Possible

Our down payment assistance program helps eligible buyers in Hutchinson take the leap into homeownership with financial support and guidance.

How We Help First-Time Buyers in Hutchinson

Through the City of Hutchinson Down Payment Assistance Program, individuals who are not currently homeowners are eligible to receive $2,000 toward closing costs and down payment.

In order to qualify, applicants must:

Purchase a home in one of the following neighborhoods: Southwest Bricktown, Creekside, Midtown, College Grove, Grace Arbor, Houston Whiteside or The Founders.

Complete homebuyer education through Interfaith Housing & Community Services. The homebuyer education course is done online at your convenience and will be followed up with a counseling phone appointment with a housing counselor through Interfaith.

Interfaith Housing will assist you with instructions to complete the homebuyer education and completion of the application. Upon completion of the education requirements and the application, the funds will be delivered to the closing agent for closing.
